The report analyzes Chinese tire renovation market from aspects such as industry development state, market demands, equipment production and competitions in order to provide reference for investors who want to invest in tire renovation and equipment producing fields.

Tire renovation means discarded tires recover its use value after sectional repair, processing, re-pasting the tread rubber and vulcanization. It extends and complements the tire production as an important segment of the tire recycling industry chain. The usage of renovated tires equals 60%-80% to new tires. The quality of a renovated tire with pre-vulcanization approaches a new tire while it is only the equivalent of 15%-30% in the consumption of raw materials of a new tire in the same standard, 20%-30% in consumption of power and 80% in price.
In 2007, the outputs of Chinese tire industry was 556 million, including 330 million automobile tires. Till the end of 2007, auto holdings of China had reached 57 million with 170 million discarded tires. As the development of auto industry, the quantities of discarded tires present a trend of swift growth. The tire renovation industry becomes attractive because of large quantities of discarded tires and the continuous growth of tire outputs. Particularly, it will be environmental pollution and waste of resources as if the discarded tires hadn't been processed properly.
Currently, major process methods of discarded tires in China include tire renovation, Production of renewable plastic and powder production
The quantities of renovated tires are only 3% of the annual output of automobile tires in China far below the world's average rate 10%. Meanwhile, renovated tires most are bias tires with low qualities.

Technologies are no longer the bottle neck. The Mileage of a qualified renovated tire is almost the same with, even exceeding a new tire. Although renovated tires have high price versus performance ratio and are good for Resource conservation and economic benefits, there are still many factors affecting Chinese tire renovation industry. For instance, the consumption concept in China is conservative; people disapprove the qualities of renovated tires. Meanwhile, poor-quality and low-cost renovated tires from some small manufacturers disturb the normal market order.
In the long run, the swift growth of auto holdings brings massive potential and investment opportunities for Chinese tire renovation industry.
